This HCUP Fast Stats interactive heat map visualizes the rate of births diagnosed with neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS) by State. Each State's NAS rate is reported per 1,000 newborn hospitalizations. States are color-coded in quintiles using 2015 as the base year.
