The following links provide SAS load programs for the Nationwide Emergency Department Sample (NEDS). SAS load programs may be used to convert the CSV data files into SAS format. Files are provided in SAS format and there is one SAS load program for each data file. SAS load programs are provided by year. A zip file containing the SAS load programs for every year is also provided. See the NEDS Overview for space requirements for working with the NEDS in SAS. The amount of time it takes to access a file depends on your machine, browser and Internet connection.
