Summary: HCUP sponsored a number of activities at the AHRQ Annual Conference, including staffing two panel sessions and a poster presentation on the HCUP Outstanding Article of the Year Award, which recognized authors who published in 2010 using HCUP data in their analyses.
September 15, 2011	Workshop: HCUP Data Users Workshop Location: AHRQ Headquarters, Rockville, MD Other Information: Registration for this event is currently closed. Summary: AHRQ sponsored a full-day hands-on workshop for health services researchers interested in using HCUP data resources. Participants were exposed to HCUP databases and related tools (including HCUPnet) via hands-on manipulation of the data. There was a focus on the HCUP Supplemental Variables for Revisit Analyses.

Summary: AHRQ hosted the second of a two-part webinar series on HCUP databases, products, and tools. This one-hour session introduced health services and policy researchers to the HCUP products and tools, with particular emphasis on HCUPnet, our free online data query system.
