General Notes |
DSNPR contains the maximum number of procedure codes that could occur on a discharge record from that data source, as of the date of discharge. This number may change over time. A maximum of 15 procedure fields are retained in the Nationwide Inpatient Sample. For data sources that provide more than 15 procedure fields, the value for this variable will be greater than 15. This data element was discontinued in 1998. |
