American Hospital Association (AHA) Hospital Identifier in the National (Nationwide) Inpatient Sample (NIS)

Maps generated on this page show which States in the 2001-2011 NIS allow the release of the AHA hospital identifier (data element AHAID) by year. Beginning with the 2012 NIS, the AHA hospital identifier is unavailable for all States.
