AHRQ has released new information in HCUP Fast Stats. The State Trends in Hospital Use by Payer topic has been updated to add emergency department (ED) data for two new States—Colorado and Mississippi. This update also adds 2018, 2019, and 2020 quarter 1 data, when available, for up to 30 States for inpatient care and 21 States for ED care. Additionally, the conditions presented in this topic (hospitalization type for inpatient care and ED visit type for ED care) have been updated to use new definitions for the ICD-10-CM time period.
