9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
MHA was awarded a two-year contract from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality to add clinical lab data to the administrative billing database that is already collected. The main benefit for hospitals participating in the project will be enhanced comparative reporting for quality and patient safety performance analyses and also additional tools in identifying the accuracy of medical coding for conditions present on admission. In order to participate, MHA will need a "data dump" from hospitals’ clinical lab systems. Project participants should attend this program to learn about the requirements and expectations. For a detailed description of the project, click here http://www.mnhospitals.org/data-reporting/mandatory-reporting/ahrq-lab-pharmacy-project.
