The following links provide Stata load programs for the Nationwide Emergency Department Sample (NEDS). Stata load programs may be used to convert the ASCII data files into Stata format. There is one Stata load program for each ASCII data file. Stata load programs are provided by year. A zip file containing the Stata load programs for every year is also provided. See the NEDS Overview for space requirements for working with the NEDS in Stata. The amount of time it takes to access a file depends on your machine, browser and Internet connection.
