The day on which the CPT procedure is performed (CPTDAYn) is calculated from the procedure date and the admission date (ADATE) with the following exceptions: CPTDAYn is missing (.) if the procedure day cannot be calculated from dates or obtained from a supplied day of CPT procedure. CPTDAYn is invalid (.A) if the procedure day cannot be calculated and the supplied procedure day is nonnumeric. CPTDAYn is inconsistent (.C) if the day of procedure is not during the stay (ECPTD01).
