New Jersey Beginning in 2015, the condition code "P1" is used to populate the DNR field. The condition code "P1" indicates that the patient has a Do Not Resuscitate Order (DNR). New Jersey provided a DNR indicator through 2008 when it was discontinued. Source documentation indicates that "Do Not Resuscitate" (DNR) is coded when the discharge status is "expired" (DISPUB92 = 20). |
