CPTDAYn - Day of CPT procedure

The day on which the CPT procedure is performed (CPTDAYn) is calculated from the procedure date and the admission date (ADATE) with the following exceptions:

  • CPTDAYn is missing (.) if the procedure day cannot be calculated from dates or obtained from a supplied day of CPT procedure.
  • CPTDAYn is invalid (.A) if the procedure day cannot be calculated and the supplied procedure day is nonnumeric.
  • CPTDAYn is inconsistent (.C) if the day of procedure is not during the stay (ECPTD01).
