Summary: AHRQ has released new information in HCUP Fast Stats.

• The State Trends in Hospital Utilization by Payer for Inpatient Stays has been updated to add 2020 inpatient data for 24 States and 2021 quarterly inpatient data for 21 States.
• The State Trends in Hospital Utilization by Payer for Emergency Department Visits has been updated to add 2020 emergency department (ED) data for 20 States.
• The Severe Maternal Morbidity (SMM) Among In-Hospital Deliveries topic has been updated to include new inpatient data. Since the release of the SMM topic in September 2021, this topic now includes 2019 national inpatient statistics and 2020 State inpatient data (40 States) and can now be found on the AHRQ Data Tools site.
